Sea Eagle of Shian III

Sea Eagle of Shian III is a sloop rigged sailing yacht designed by German Frers and built in 1993 to an extremely high specification by Nautor Swan.  She has recently undergone an extensive refit in late 2010 and is subject to an ongoing programme of improvements and upgrades.  She has recently completed a successful Caribbean charter season where she is based during the winter months with Scotland home for the summer.  Described as one of the prettiest yachts afloat with classic timeless lines, she provides the perfect combination of luxury accommodation with exhilarating sailing performance.  She is equipped with a powerful engine, although this is rarely required.

 

Above deck, the teak laid deck area leaves no shortgage of space for sunbathing and relaxing.  A hydraulic swim platform provides easy access for swimming, snorkelling and diving.  The spacious cockpit which can comfortably accommodate six, provides a great venue for alfresco dining and magical sunsets.  The high performance tender provides asy access for a variety of water based activities or simply exploring the shore line in comfort.

 

Beautifully appointed and catering for up to six guests, Sea Eagle III offers an exceptionally high standard of comfort including air conditioning throughout.  The accommodation comprises three double cabins all with ensuite facilities (lavatory, shower and washbasin).  Two of the double cabins benefit from an upper Pullman berth, providing more flexible accommodation for individuals.

Luxuriously fitted out with teak joinery offset by comfortable upholstery, the saloon area boasts a Bose TV DVD and music surround sound system which extends to outside speakers.  There is a comfortable dining area together with a separate sofa suitable for pre-dinner drinks or simply relaxing. 

 

The galley area is accommodated discreetly on the port side and is equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, wine cooler, ice maker etc.
